About the role

Requirements
- Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Professional experience in server operations with Microsoft Windows or Linux, e.g. hardening, patching, logging, backup & restore, etc.
- Interest in DevOps, automation, Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) as well as Config-as-Code (CaC) using HashiCorp Terraform or OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Git, GitLab, cloud-init, Renovate, etc.
- Experience in scripting and automation with shell scripting or coding in Bash or PowerShell; ideally also Golang (Go)
- Willingness to learn new topics
- Awareness of reliability, availability and maintainability
- Understanding of compliance and security
- Pragmatic approach to implementing requirements
- Good German language skills (minimum B2 level)
- Strong enjoyment of teamwork and knowledge sharing
