About the role
- Operations & Supply Chain Specialist overseeing customer orders from entry to delivery. Collaborating with multiple departments and supporting continuous improvement in processes.
Responsibilities
- Independent handling and control of customer orders — from order entry to delivery
- Responsibility for materials management: inventory control, stocktaking, basic warehouse reconciliations
- Maintenance and updating of master data and tools
- Close collaboration with Sales, Logistics, QA and Engineering
- Practical support of day-to-day operations: structuring tasks, tracking information, actively coordinating interfaces
- Taking responsibility for smooth processes and supporting continuous improvement
- Management of loan equipment
- Support for the Sales department in preparing quotations
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification (e.g., industrial clerk, forwarding or logistics clerk)
- Initial experience in order processing or materials management; purchasing experience is an advantage
- Affinity for complex, highly technical products
- Strong hands-on mentality and a generalist approach to work
- Strong communicator, team-oriented, and able to confidently handle multiple interfaces/stakeholders
- Fluent German and basic English (phone calls, emails)
- Confident use of ERP systems (ideally proALPHA) and MS Office
