About the role
- Project Manager overseeing R&D funding projects and coordinating between development, management, and external partners. Influencing the innovation strategy of the global Plansee Group.
Responsibilities
- You design, plan, secure funding for, and manage global funding projects for the Plansee Group
- Provide internal consulting on the design of multi-year technology platform programs, screening of funding opportunities, and communication with internal stakeholders
- Screen external competence and innovation partners, assess industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions into funded projects
- Coordinate and prepare technical grant applications; respond to inquiries, attend hearings, and submit follow-up documentation; draft and finalize funding and cooperation agreements
- Support technical project leadership and reporting; maintain and manage external innovation partners; oversee external service providers, funding agencies, and auditors, including audits
Requirements
- Completed technical or scientific degree with several years of relevant professional experience, e.g., in research & development/technology
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate and monitor multi- and interdisciplinary research projects
- Excellent German and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Confident presence with persuasive enthusiasm for our innovation projects and a strong networking mindset
