About the role

• Expert responsible for funding technological innovations at Plansee Group in Reutte, Austria. Planning and managing global funding projects while collaborating with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• In this role you act as an expert for funding technical innovations
• You design, plan, secure and manage global funding projects for the Plansee Group
• You serve as the interface between R&D, management and external partners
• Contribute to the development of technology roadmaps and exploratory feasibility studies; develop funding strategies for the business divisions
• Screen external competence and innovation partners, review industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions into funding projects
• Provide internal consulting on the design of multi-year technology platform programs, screen funding opportunities and communicate with internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and prepare technical funding proposals, respond to inquiries, hearings and requests for supplementary information; draft and finalize funding and cooperation agreements
• Support the technical project leadership and reporting, maintain and manage external innovation partners and oversee external service partners, funding agencies and reviewers, including audits

Requirements

• Completed degree in engineering or natural sciences with several years of relevant professional experience, e.g. in research & development / technology
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate and monitor multi- and interdisciplinary research projects
• Excellent German and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Confident presence with genuine enthusiasm for our innovation projects and a strong networking mindset
