Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Finance and Manager, Investments, the Analyst’s responsibilities include financial/sensitivity analysis
Identification and implementation of value‐add strategies
Creation of annual operational and capital budgets
Liaison with property management teams
Attending acquisition site visits
Performing monthly site visits across the entire property portfolio
Assisting with obtaining quotes and sourcing vendors when necessary
Providing clear direction to the management team
Ensuring properties are obtaining turnover and achieving market rents
Performing monthly reports on the portfolio and findings from site visits
Requirements
Completion of a post-secondary degree in finance, accounting, or economics
2+ years of related work experience in Real Estate considered an asset
Strong financial modelling experience
Adequate knowledge of contracting and capital expenditure work
Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
Self-motivated, team-player, able to work independently
Experience, ability, and willingness, to work beyond normal business hours if required
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and operating vehicle
