About the role
- Analyst in Asset Management at Pier 4, focusing on financial analysis and property management tasks. Collaborating with finance and investments teams to ensure portfolio performance and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Director, Finance and Manager, Investments, the Analyst’s responsibilities include financial/sensitivity analysis
- Identification and implementation of value‐add strategies
- Creation of annual operational and capital budgets
- Liaison with property management teams
- Attending acquisition site visits
- Performing monthly site visits across the entire property portfolio
- Assisting with obtaining quotes and sourcing vendors when necessary
- Providing clear direction to the management team
- Ensuring properties are obtaining turnover and achieving market rents
- Performing monthly reports on the portfolio and findings from site visits
Requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary degree in finance, accounting, or economics
- 2+ years of related work experience in Real Estate considered an asset
- Strong financial modelling experience
- Adequate knowledge of contracting and capital expenditure work
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
- Self-motivated, team-player, able to work independently
- Experience, ability, and willingness, to work beyond normal business hours if required
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and operating vehicle
