About the role

  • Medical Director in Precision Oncology leading Medical Affairs initiatives at Pfizer. Overseeing medical plans and collaboration with Brand teams on product strategies and quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for in line precision oncology products on behalf of the Medical Affairs team
  • Collaborates with Brand partners in developing product strategy and ensures consistency of approach and quality deliverables
  • Oversees and coordinates medical input into brand strategies and tactics, aligning on US regional medical needs
  • Lead the development and implementation of medical plan
  • Participates on GMAT meetings and activities
  • Provides medical leadership for concept development and review of promotional and sales training materials
  • Provides leadership for the development and implementation of customer insight planning
  • Manages the Investigator-Initiated Research program, Clinical Research Collaborations, and analyses of Real World Data
  • Develops and advocates for Phase IV lifecycle clinical trial strategies and concepts
  • Collaborates with Clinical Development and Medical Strategy Lead on key governance committee for publication plans
  • Represents regional medical on internal safety committees and provides regulatory support

Requirements

  • Terminal degree required (PharmD or PhD)
  • 6+ years Medical Affairs experience required
  • Solid Tumor prior experience
  • Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in proactively identifying and addressing challenges
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships
  • Well-organized with the ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, and effectively lead in a matrix organization
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities
