Customer Planning Analyst focused on demand planning and analytics at Perrigo. Collaborating with sales team, analyzing data, and leading forecast meetings.
Responsibilities
Responsible for improving SKU-level forecast accuracy and eliminating bias across products for assigned customer(s) as well as assisting team members with other accounts
Analyzes several distribution and velocity demand factors including POS data, customer supplied forecasts, promotional impact, service issues, etc. to enrich the forecast and to develop reasons to believe
Provides robust investigation to develop insights and validate assumptions, while highlighting gaps, exceptions, and major changes
Completes root cause analysis on forecast error and collaborates with business partners on corrective actions
Collaborates with internal sales partners and in some cases the external customer(s) to understand and align on key drivers
May lead internal and/or external customer focused forecast meetings
Conducts audit reports and mass data loads on a regular cadence
Requirements
1-3 years of forecast/demand planning related experience required
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and results oriented
Critical thinker with strong problem solving, and able to navigate ambiguity
Strong technical skills with ability to mine large amounts of data, develop new tools, and drive process improvements
Ability to obtain and analyze data, take initiative, develop strong relationships with business partners, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Skilled in investigative reasoning and a high degree of skill working with calculations and numbers with attention to detail and accuracy
High proficiency in Excel required
