- You administratively manage the latest inventions — from invention disclosure to the patent’s end of term
- Monitor deadlines throughout the patent process and take appropriate action
- Independently handle communications — in English and German — with inventors, external law firms, international partners, patent offices, and internal business stakeholders
- Work closely with patent attorneys as a strong team and oversee workflows
- Ensure data quality in the database through regular QA reports
- Prepare analyses and derive business-relevant measures
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all relevant data in the IP management system according to our internal standards
- Actively contribute your expertise to the further development of our digital processes
- Share your knowledge — whether already existing or newly acquired — and thereby contribute to the continuous development of the team
- Supervise and train apprentices and interns depending on your training and level of experience
Requirements
- Completed qualification as a patent paralegal (preferred); alternatively, completed commercial/vocational training
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of patent matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Familiar with domain-specific systems (e.g., IP management systems such as Anaqua) and standard IT applications
- Strong team player with a high degree of reliability
