Responsibilities
Manage all distribution partners across Europe, Turkey, Middle East, and Africa.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors; organize regular business review meetings.
Develop new applications in collaboration with technical teams.
Introduce and manage product portfolio; set and monitor annual targets per region.
Prepare bottom-up budgets aligned with strategic business goals.
Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions when needed.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting (e.g., visit reports, forecasts, opportunity pipelines).
Provide operational guidance to Customer Service Officers (CSO).
Conduct local market analysis focusing on demand and market share.
Implement and update sales concepts tailored to regional characteristics.
Support cross-regional projects initiated by the Business Unit.
Facilitate effective communication between BASF and local markets.
Foster long-term distributor loyalty and alignment with BASF’s strategic interests.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy or a related field is required.
Advanced degrees such as a Master’s or PhD (e.g., in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or MBA) are considered a strong asset.
Minimum 7 years of experience in sales and key account management, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical industry.
Proven strategic and analytical thinking with strong project management capabilities.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a high customer focus.
Experience in leading diverse teams across regions and cultures.
Fluent in Business English.
Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
