About the role

• Solution Architect shaping architecture capability at Pepperstone, a global fintech, driving solutions and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solutions aligned with business strategy and architectural standards
• Lead architecture discovery and conduct impact assessments for new initiatives
• Drive architecture decisions across both solution and enterprise levels
• Develop and maintain architecture principles, patterns, and guardrails
• Contribute to current and target state architectures and roadmap planning
• Partner with engineering teams to support implementation and delivery
• Collaborate with Product Managers and business stakeholders to align on goals and requirements
• Work closely with other architects to ensure consistency and alignment across domains

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in architecture, ideally within banking or fintech. Experience in CFD and/or crypto is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of designing impactful solutions in fast-paced environments and are confident driving complex architecture decisions through to alignment.
• Cloud-native application and infrastructure design
• Architecture modelling and capability mapping (including C4)
• Domain-Driven Design and UML (sequence and class diagrams)
• Integration architecture, including event-driven and API-based systems
• Security and compliance by design
• Exposure to Generative AI
