Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the pharmacy department
- Ensure safe, compliant, and scalable pharmacy services in support of pediatric home health and infusion care
- Provide leadership to pharmacists and pharmacy staff
- Partner closely with clinical and operational teams
- Oversee dispensing of medications to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, interactions, and therapeutic effectiveness
- Manage daily pharmacy workflow to ensure efficiency and patient-centered service
- Lead audits, quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice
- 5-7 years of pharmacist experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical therapies, drug interactions, and patient safety
- Experience in home care, infusion therapy, and/or pediatrics
- Knowledge of sterile compounding, aseptic technique, and parenteral preparation
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Interest in process improvement, quality initiatives, and pharmacy leadership
- Demonstrated experience leading teams through growth or change
- Experience partnering with executives or enterprise leaders
- Strong regulatory and compliance leadership background
