Responsibilities
Execute daily processing schedules for payroll branches and Corporate business units.
Monitor the Paychex network of servers, components, switches, routers, backups, and associated hardware.
Respond to system issues and alerts for defined business services.
Initiate problem tickets to Enterprise Support and third level technical teams.
Utilize monitoring tools to oversee Paychex applications, websites, servers, networking systems, and business processes.
Refer to Knowledge Base articles and follow standard procedures to address alerts related to job failures, service downtimes, and backups.
Work in close collaboration with specialized teams.
Provide SOC coverage, respond to emails, and handle Operations Center calls.
Gain exposure to IT infrastructure, patching, hardware troubleshooting, and enterprise tools.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of Linux experience or RedHat Linux certification.
Minimum of 2 years of ITIL knowledge or ITIL V4 certification.
3 years of experience in technical customer care handling.
At least 1 year of experience in ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline.
Experience with Splunk dashboard operations is a plus.
Certification in CompTIA A+ Core 1, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Oracle SQL, any cloud platform, or DevOps is a plus.
Background in automation or AI technologies is a plus.
