Responsibilities
- Propose adjustments to credit rules and policies based on performance indicators.
- Document eligibility criteria and credit-granting policies.
- Work with the commercial and compliance teams to ensure alignment between strategy and operations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal controls related to credit granting.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on projects and analyses related to credit granting and portfolio delinquency, translating complex data into clear insights.
- Support the collections team with data, metrics and analyses to guide improvements to the collections process and the effective recovery of delinquent customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in credit risk for individual (retail) customers.
- Strong knowledge of the main credit risk performance metrics used to evaluate decision model performance (Over30, 60, 90, Ever, PDD, cost of credit, roll rates, etc.).
- Analytical profile capable of performing complex data analyses, identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to define and defend credit policies with senior management.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of statistics.
- Experience with Databricks (desired).
- Prior experience with payroll-deductible (consigned) credit (desired).
- Advanced Python for statistical analysis (desired).
