About the role
- Product Engineer supporting new product testing and development for manufacturing at Pandora. Collaborating with teams to optimize processes and ensure product readiness for mass production.
Responsibilities
- Execute the new product SOV testing phase.
- Support and execute Pre-production sample, and Handover packages that meet established criteria.
- Collaborate with the team to design and optimize Product Master sprue.
- Execute to obtain parameters, process routing, and tooling for new products based on testing results.
- Provide work instructions and training for new product mass production.
- Monitor, track, investigate, and improve new product testing processes to achieve set targets.
- Collect and summarize information and testing results of new products, ensuring alignment, and handover to the Production team.
- Capture of standard time and verify BOM accuracy for material planning and master data preparation.
- Provide feedback and recommend changes to the Product Master based on testing results required for mass production.
- Support C&S strategy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience in product engineering, new product testing, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Knowledge of pre-production testing, process optimization, BOM accuracy, and Product Master sprue design.
- Ability to analyse test results, improve processes, and ensure mass production readiness.
- Strong teamwork, reporting, and training skills for seamless production handover.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and team support.
