About the role
- Junior Software Engineer developing software for demodulation and decoding of radio signals. Collaborating with a team on projects using C++ and Python.
Responsibilities
- Entwicklung von Softwarekomponenten zur Demodulation und Decodierung von Funksignalen aus unterschiedlichsten Anwendungsbereichen
- Übernahme von Verantwortung bei Entwurf, Entwicklung, Dokumentation und Test von entsprechenden Softwarekomponenten
- Entwicklung von numerischen Algorithmen für die digitale Signalverarbeitung im Hinblick auf Zuverlässigkeit, Robustheit, Reproduzierbarkeit und Geschwindigkeit
- Bitanalyse neuer und unbekannter Übertragungsprotokolle von der Kanaldecodierung bis zum Application Layer
- Arbeiten mit aktuellen Technologien im Bereich C++ und Python (z.B. pybind11, etc.)
- Mitarbeit in einem Team nach agilen Methoden bei engem fachlichen Austausch mit Kollegen
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Nachrichtentechnik, Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Physik oder vergleichbare Kenntnisse
- Spaß an digitaler Signalverarbeitung und Themen rund um Demodulation und Decodierung von Funksignalen
- Sehr gute Erfahrung in Softwareentwicklung mit C++ und Python
- Kenntnisse über Build-Tools und Continuous Integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Offene Kommunikation und Fokus auf Problemlösung
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
