About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop software components for the demodulation and decoding of radio signals across a wide range of application domains
- Take responsibility for the design, implementation, documentation and testing of the corresponding software components
- Develop numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility and performance
- Perform bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols from channel decoding to the application layer
- Work with current technologies in C++ and Python (e.g. pybind11, etc.)
- Contribute in an agile team with close technical collaboration with colleagues
Requirements
- Degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent experience
- Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
- Strong software development experience with C++ and Python
- Familiarity with build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Open communication style and a problem-solving mindset
- Very good German and English language skills
