Responsibilities
Responsibility for the technological vision and the development of the automated multi-channel control of a platform
Management of technical due diligence and the post-merger integration of acquired companies
Leading tech teams and building a scalable organization with a hands-on mentality
Technical sparring partner for the board and the CEOs within the parent group
Promoting a culture of entrepreneurial thinking and driving innovation
Requirements
Several years of experience in a CTO, VP Engineering or comparable leadership role, preferably in scaling environments or restructuring situations (M&A / PMI experience is a big plus)
Deep technical understanding of modern IT architectures (e.g., microservices, API-first, cloud/AWS, AI)
Experience in data-driven environments such as e-commerce, AdTech or FinTech
Assertiveness to make independent decisions and drive change in traditional structures
Strong communication skills to discuss technically complex topics at eye level
Fluent German and English skills and willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
