About the role

  • Expert Change Manager at PG&E responsible for organizational change strategies and compliance oversight. Leading initiatives in Electric Operations to enhance safety and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex change management approaches, plans, and tactics for large and complex change management initiatives to support Electric Operations.
  • Able to navigate the organization and understand complex inter-relationships of various groups, operations, systems or processes to be able to identify risks, impacts and strategies that will help drive change management strategy and plans.
  • Advise and communicate risks and strategies to senior leadership.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Lead development of change management programs, goals, and success measures.
  • Oversee tasks and activities pertaining to projects requiring advanced organizational and analytical skills.
  • Mentor less experienced change management practitioners and provide subject matter expertise.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across teams and the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business.
  • 8 years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring and training others within the scope of change management.
  • Master’s Degree in job-related discipline (desired).
  • Prosci Change Management Certification or other industry recognized certification (desired).
  • Two years professional experience in Safety (desired).
  • Ability to use understanding of the business to help drive strategic decision making, and to recommend operational improvements.
  • Deep knowledge and expertise of business and or industry drivers.
  • Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (desired).
  • Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills.
