About the role

  • Expert Technical Project Manager leading data remediation and quality improvement projects at PG&E. Requires project management skills in a hybrid work setting with a focus on electric engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Leads data remediation and data quality improvement projects from inception to closeout utilizing project management tools and methodologies to manage the scope, schedule and cost of multiple projects with varying complexities.
  • This position functions under the Asset Knowledge Management (AKM) organization who is responsible for the management of PG&Es GIS database which houses more than 2 billion attributes.
  • This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.
  • The assigned work location will be within the greater Sacramento area or the Bay Area.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or the appropriate technical discipline
  • 8 years relevant experience
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience (Desired)
  • Job-related experience, 10 years (Desired)
  • Experience as Project Manager, 6 years (Desired)
  • Complex problem-solving experience (Desired)
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams to a common goal/desired outcome (Desired)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (Desired)
