About the role
- Expert Technical Project Manager leading data quality improvement projects at PG&E. Overseeing complex projects within Electric Engineering under Asset Knowledge Management.
Responsibilities
- Leads data remediation and data quality improvement projects from inception to closeout utilizing project management tools and methodologies to manage the scope, schedule and cost of multiple projects with varying complexities.
- Functions under the Asset Knowledge Management (AKM) organization who is responsible for the management of PG&Es GIS database which houses more than 2 billion attributes.
- This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the greater Sacramento area or the Bay Area.
- Manages numerous complex or major projects
- Typical project value < $50M
- Applies and adapts project management techniques
- Requires extensive risk management
- May include formal partnering agreements with other firms
- Assignments are broad and complex, have associated risks/high visibility, and can be sensitive or widely varied.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or the appropriate technical discipline
- 8 years relevant experience
- PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
- Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience (Desired)
- Job-related experience, 10 years (Desired)
- Experience as Project Manager, 6 years (Desired)
