About the role

  • Provides strategic planning and analyses for government funding at PG&E, collaborating across departments to manage execution plans for government awards.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic planning and analyses, and policy development.
  • Develop strategies to support the Government Funding program, including the development of financial and project tracking dashboards, from multiple data sources.
  • Analyze complex requirements, understand workstream and government-sponsor needs, business impacts, and company vision.
  • Work with regulators, utility industry peers and/or internal departments to influence the company around current and future priorities, funding constraints and future business needs.
  • Influence company and regulatory priorities considering inputs from stakeholder research, business impacts, and PG&E strategies and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Policy, Business, Finance, Sociology, Engineering, Physics or other related fields or equivalent work experience
  • 4 years of job-related experience
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Public Policy, Sociology, Engineering, Physics or other related fields or equivalent work experience (desired)
  • 6 years of job-related experience (desired)
