About the role

  • Senior Manager PMO overseeing electric operations for wildfire mitigation and program governance in CA. Leading strategic direction and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day PMO operations, ensuring consistent execution of PMO standards, processes, and governance.
  • Define, implement, and enforce PMO policies, processes, templates, and performance expectations.
  • Oversee program-level reporting, including schedule, budget, forecast, risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop PMO staff and contractors; set clear expectations and performance standards.
  • Assigned to multiple programs that represent a significant financial impact on the annual work plan of Electric Operations.
  • Leads the annual and/or multi-year forecasting and planning process for assigned program work.
  • Oversees the development of metrics and monitors performance of work within assigned program.
  • Manages staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, and rewards and recognition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in areas such as: electric construction, maintenance, service planning, compliance, financial planning or quality control/assurance.
  • 3 years of leadership or team lead experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PgMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar project/program certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management, including leading or managing a PMO.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing PMO governance, standards, and operating cadence.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience.
  • Proven ability to work across functions and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, forecasting, and variance analysis in a program environment.
