Responsibilities
Lead Bill Print team through the Billing Modernization journey by leveraging new technologies while maintaining focus on customer experience and regulatory obligations
Support Bill Print team by prioritizing, troubleshooting and problem-solving data mapping and integration issues for downstream applications
Solution, Technology, and Team focused person who serves as the customer proxy responsible for working with stakeholders to define and prioritize the work within the team
Content/Design Authority for their functional area – collaborate with system/solution architects to assist with decision making of critical technology
Evaluate new product functionality to identify opportunities to replace previous customizations with base product solutions
Evaluate and document alternatives that will provide the most effective solutions to complex, possibly cross-functional business problems
Identify, propose, and influence IT solutions to complex cross organizational business problems
Oversees the completion and acceptance of user stories that will be used to define the acceptance criteria
Partners with LOB SME’s and the respective leaders across the enterprise to gather feedback on existing functionality and introduce new products to meet business needs across PG&E
Lead, coach, and mentor team members within their functional agile team.
Manages team workload and reallocates resources as needed to meet the goals of the work plan and meet commitments of the project iterations.
Requirements
High School or GED-General Educational Development-Diploma
Job-related experience, 7 years
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Desired)
Experience as Product Owner, Agile environment, 5 years (Desired)
Experience in Oracle Utilities (Customer Billing & Rates) and Kubra (Bill Print) is highly desired
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement of customer experience, both internal and external, as well as simplification of processes as we consolidate and modernize our Billing Systems
Ability to influence stakeholders to support changes that may be needed to increase future efficiencies and customer satisfaction
Attention to detail for troubleshooting and problem solving, collaborate with other workstreams to brainstorm ideal resolutions as quickly as possible.
