About the role

  • Compliance & Risk Consultant managing daily activities between PG&E and CPUC’s Safety Enforcement Division. Responsibilities include oversight and management of Electric CPUC audits and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing Stakeholder Meetings: Arranging and leading kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating Data Requests: Breaking down pre-audit data requirements, assigning questions to the right business units.
  • Quality Control: Reviewing all submitted data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Facilitating Audit Walkthroughs: Planning and leading on-site reviews and documenting observations.
  • Managing Additional Data Requests: Handling new or follow-up data requests.
  • Responding to Audit Findings: Developing responses and improvement plans based on final audit reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of relevant working experience
  • 4 years of experience in compliance (preferably with CPUC)
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
  • Experience conducting audits and ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Ability to visualize, analyze, and optimize workflows across diverse functions.
  • Skilled in developing clear, concise guidance documents and standard operating procedures.
  • Certified in Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or recognized as a Certified Problem Solver.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments.
