  • Electric Transmission Asset Strategy Manager developing proposals for substation and overhead line infrastructure at PG&E, collaborating with internal teams and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews outages and failures and develops long-term-strategy project proposals for substation and overhead line infrastructure.
  • Creates data-based decision support tools to identify sustainability issues and inform asset strategy planning.
  • Oversees the engineers tasked with creating plans for specific assets.
  • Develops and manages development budgets, regularly monitoring expenses against forecast.
  • Manages supervisors and professional employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of engineering experience, including experience with cycle time planning of assets and strategy related to infrastructure asset development.
