About the role

  • Donor Operations Manager overseeing donor relations and data management at Proverbs 31 Ministries. Ensuring accurate processing of gifts and enhancing donor experience through effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all gifts are promptly and accurately entered, acknowledged and receipted; resolving gift-related issues and collaborating with the finance and IT teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for donor inquiries and service requests.
  • Enhance the donor experience through solution-driven conversations via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring their needs are met with accuracy and care.
  • Create, audit, and update donor and gift records.
  • Assist in keeping the donor data clean and accurate.
  • Process and print acknowledgement letters and oversee the timely fulfillment and delivery process.
  • Project manage database-related projects including the tax-receipting process, working closely with the Donor Database Manager.
  • Support programming and events designed to engage and steward Proverbs 31 Ministries’ financial partners.
  • Maintain and update Proverbs 31 records annually to maintain the highest ratings possible for accountability among the watch-dog organizations.
  • Assist and successfully implement all non-marketing based digital donor communications through Virtuous.
  • Anticipate various administrative support tasks for the team.
  • Arrange travel logistics and plan itineraries for members of the fundraising team.
  • Coordinate team schedules and meeting agendas.
  • Assist the Director of Donor Development as needed.

Requirements

  • An understanding of and a commitment to the mission and values of Proverbs 31 Ministries.
  • 3+ years of relevant administrative experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (i.e. Basecamp or similar).
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Docs and able to create and maintain documents and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Can-do attitude eager to grow and learn.
  • Independent worker who collaborates well with a team.
