About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control payments and invoices for chartered transportation services, ensuring compliance with contracts, deadlines, and internal policies.
  • Create, monitor, and adjust Purchase Orders (POs) in Ariba, ensuring correct allocation of resources and adherence to budget.
  • Analyze and validate billing previews, identifying inconsistencies and proposing adjustments to optimize costs.
  • Monitor and review the area’s annual budget, preparing financial projections and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Perform financial reconciliations and control cash flows, ensuring the accuracy of accounting entries and the integrity of financial information.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance by analyzing KPIs and ensuring quality and compliance with established SLAs.
  • Participate in contract review and renegotiation to secure improved financial and operational terms for the company.
  • Develop and automate management reports and financial dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure process alignment and efficiency in managing chartered transportation services.
  • Implement continuous improvements in financial and operational processes, proposing innovative solutions to optimize the area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in financial control, contract management, accounts payable/receivable, and budget analysis.
  • Proficiency with Ariba for creating and managing POs and interacting with suppliers.
  • Advanced Excel (financial analyses, dashboards, report automation).
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
  • Analytical, organized, and highly skilled at problem solving.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
