About the role
- Financial Analyst at Bel overseeing financial processes and analyses in the finance department. Supporting reporting and collaborating with teams on cost tracking and insights.
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the month-end close process, reconciling Sales / COGS / A&P / CAM for Bel brands
- Manage financial analysis, identify and understand variances; propose and implement solutions.
- Contribute to monthly and annual senior management reporting.
- Master Data responsibilities, maintaining financial data (CCR / Transfer Pricing) in systems.
- Serve as the primary finance partner to the Supply Chain and Marketing teams for cost tracking and analysis.
- Maintain up-to-date P&Ls by customer and by product.
- Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Identify and analyze financial metrics to assess performance and formulate recommendations.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues across the organization.
- Understand and continuously work to improve processes, including tools and methodology.
- Special projects and other duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA designation is an asset
- Minimum 2 years' experience in financial analysis or accounting; experience in a public accounting firm is an asset.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Curiosity about the story behind the numbers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
