About the role

  • Assistant Project Manager for F&B team at Gray Construction responsible for project scheduling, estimating, and budgeting. Collaborating with vendors and managing communications in project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update and monitor job progress using QMS program, including scheduling, estimating and budgeting
  • Perform quantity take off(s), cost estimates and bid solicitation
  • Provide research options and regulation information as required
  • Purchase and coordinate the delivery of certain materials for the project(s)
  • Review and approve invoices and change orders
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors for specific trades
  • Review vendor and subcontractor shop drawing submittals
  • Attend weekly job site meetings
  • Prepare various reports
  • Communicate effectively with customer, direct consultants and subcontractors
  • Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of three years related experience
  • Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications
  • May require working knowledge of scheduling applications
  • Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment
  • Passion for collaboration and professional development
