About the role
- Logistics Operations Manager overseeing daily execution of Multi-Mile Shipping models for an e-commerce startup. Coordinating logistics operations and ensuring quality control for efficient delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Own the daily execution and performance of existing Multi-Mile Shipping models across Europe.
- Ensure smooth coordination between carriers, cross-docks and sorting centres.
- Monitor every part of the delivery chain - from pickup to return - to identify risks and resolve issues.
- Oversee quality of packaging, relabeling, weighing, and repacking at central hubs (e.g. Warsaw Logistics Hub).
- Ensure 100% accuracy of weight and size data before handover to last-mile carriers.
- Track and optimize the punctuality and load efficiency of middle-mile trucks.
- Analyze data coming from our logistics hubs and systems; lead initiatives to act on key insights with stakeholders.
- Report performance metrics and lead weekly improvement cycles.
- Collaborate with SPMs, data team, warehouse teams, and WMS product owners.
- Support long-term scalability by maintaining best-in-class process standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logistics operations, fulfilment, or transportation execution (international preferred).
- Understanding of multi-leg delivery chains (first mile, hub handover, middle mile, last mile).
- Experience working with warehouses and carrier partners in a hands-on operational context.
- Comfortable working with operational data and data analytics tools (WMS, Excel/Sheets, Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Fluent English required, and other European languages are a plus.
- Strong ownership mindset - ready to take full accountability for delivery performance.
