Responsibilities
Act as the lead in resolving technical issues by coordinating activities with other support departments and providing technical support throughout the entire problem-resolution process
Manage short- and medium-term projects to optimize production, reduce costs, and eliminate non-value-added activities
Standardize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production teams
Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components
Define the tools required for manufacturing or assembling aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing
Identify opportunities to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects
Optimize the processes for drafting work instructions and first-article inspection/control documentation.
Requirements
You hold a college diploma in engineering or an equivalent qualification
You have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
You have experience in the aeronautics/aerospace field
You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
You are highly proficient with SAP and MS Office, notably MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel. You have knowledge of CATIA V5
You are a strong team player with solid communication skills who can interface with many business partners
You must demonstrate superior organizational and leadership skills and be comfortable in a dynamic, changing work environment
