About the role
- Demand Planner/Forecast Analyst at Otter Products developing accurate demand forecasts, analyzing market trends, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.
- Prepare data visualizations, reports, briefings, and concise summary analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and supply chain teams to gather relevant data and insights.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and market conditions to adjust forecasts as needed.
- Prepare and present regular reports on demand forecasts and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize advanced forecasting tools and software to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in the development and implementation of demand planning processes and best practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field is required.
- Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a heavily data focused demand planning or directly related role is required.
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Experience using statistical modeling such as Power BI, Kimball Method, DAX and/or SQL Server is preferred.
- Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is preferred.
