About the role
- Intern supporting Supply Chain Operations at Boeing Japan, gaining hands-on experience in supply chain management. Collaborating with cross-functional teams during a full-time internship in Tokyo and Nagoya.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and conduct day-to-day operation in the rotated business functions
- Conduct analyses and research for specific projects to prepare reports that will be edited and published after internship
- Interact and build relationships with stakeholders in Boeing Japan Stakeholder and Boeing suppliers
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time for eight weeks during the 2026 calendar year
- Authorized to work in Japan (up to 40H/week)
- Undergraduate, masters, or PhD students who will graduate between Oct 2026 and Jul 2028
- Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Operation and Manufacturing Operation
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma is a plus
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project or similar project management tool
- English speaking and writing skills are essential
- Business level of speaking and writing Japanese (JLPT-N3 or better) preferred
