About the role
- Supply Chain Clerk I performing material handling duties including inventory management for Medline’s medical-surgical products. Responsible for customer service and quality control at warehouse locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform material handling duties including operating equipment for product receiving and disbursement
- Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks
- Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated, and replenished daily
- Stock and inventory product on carts or within assigned areas
- Check for compromised products and expired inventory
- Receive inbound materials and mark materials with identifying information
- Quality control, moving carts to and from loading docks, and operation of material handling equipment
- Assist with customer requests while maintaining high level of customer service
- Housekeeping duties including onsite cleanup
Requirements
- 1 to 3 months of related work or training
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction)
- Must have strong interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Must have a high sense of urgency and meet physical requirements of the position
- High school diploma preferred
- At least 1 year experience working in a hospital environment preferred
