About the role
- Frontend Developer responsible for building accessible TypeScript/React frontends for an IoT platform. Collaborating with Product and Backend teams to integrate APIs and release stable features.
Responsibilities
- Development of maintainable React/TypeScript features including state/data layer (e.g. Zustand/React Query)
- API integration (REST; ideally WebSockets/MQTT), form flows, validation & error handling
- UI components & design system: Storybook contributions, documentation, accessibility (ARIA, keyboard support)
- Quality: Unit/integration/E2E tests, performance checks, CI/CD (GitLab)
- Collaboration with Product/UX (Figma), clean handover/feedback loops, short iterations
Requirements
- Strong practical experience with TypeScript/React (Hooks, composition, best practices)
- Experience integrating with APIs (REST; realtime via WebSockets/MQTT is a plus)
- Testing routine (Jest/React Testing Library/Playwright) & CI/CD familiarity (GitLab, Docker)
- UI/UX fundamentals: design systems, semantics, accessibility, Figma handover
- Languages: German C1 (customer-facing), English B2
