Responsibilities

  • Analyse key process data to implement continuous improvement and reliability strategies.
  • Manage plant repair and maintenance expenditures.
  • Lead capital projects by managing equipment installation, timelines, budgets and stakeholder communications.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to the plant regarding equipment, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Assure commitment to Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems while assisting in the development of autonomous work groups.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Possess relevant experience in a similar role within the FMCG or process manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and reliability-centred strategies.
  • Exhibit the ability to work autonomously while effectively managing complex issues and data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders from the shop floor to the management level.
  • An organized, proactive self-starter with the ability to lead and execute projects.
