About the role

  • Full Stack Engineer developing scalable applications and APIs for ORBCOMM's IoT and digital services. Collaborating with architects and engineers in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services using Python (FastAPI)
  • Develop modern React-based dashboards and control-plane applications
  • Build pipelines for device telemetry ingestion through IoT hubs and streaming platforms
  • Design real-time streaming and ordered event processing using Kafka
  • Design and implement Delta Lake and Microsoft Fabric lakehouse pipelines
  • Integrate AI/ML models into digital services using FastAPI-based inference endpoints
  • Design and work with market graph intelligence using Neo4j or Gremlin
  • Deploy applications and data services on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience building cloud-native, production-grade systems
  • Back-End: Python (FastAPI), microservices architecture
  • Front-End: React.js (required) for dashboards and control-plane applications
  • IoT & Streaming: Device telemetry ingestion, IoT hubs, Kafka, real-time streaming and ordering
  • Data Platforms: Delta Lake, Microsoft Fabric lakehouse, feature tables for ML
  • AI & Agents: ML model integration, LangGraph, NVIDIA AgentIQ, AI-enabled services
  • Graphs: Neo4j or Gremlin for market and relationship intelligence
  • APIs: REST, gRPC, inference and decision APIs
  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
