About the role
- Senior Integrations Developer focusing on implementing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud. Collaborating with teams to modernize integration environments and improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the technical design and development of integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Determine the best technical approach for each integration (synchronous, asynchronous, orchestrated, event-driven).
- Develop complex App-driven, scheduled, and file-based integrations.
- Implement advanced data transformations (XML, JSON, XSLT, expressions, and custom functions).
- Configure and optimize OIC adapters for integration with SaaS platforms, external APIs, databases, and on-premises applications.
- Design and implement APIs in OIC with versioning, security, and governance controls.
- Define and enforce technical integration standards (naming conventions, error handling, logging, component reuse).
- Implement robust exception handling, retry mechanisms, idempotency, and transactional control.
- Ensure compliance with security policies (OAuth 2.0, certificates, encryption, access control).
- Configure secure hybrid connectivity via connectivity agents and integrations with internal environments.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, log analysis, and performance optimization of integrations.
- Support the migration of legacy integrations (e.g., SOA or point-to-point) to OIC, defining the technical transition strategy.
- Act as a technical reference for mid-level and junior developers, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.
- Participate in architectural discussions, contributing to the evolution of enterprise integration standards.
- Document technical solutions, integration flows, and API contracts to ensure traceability and sustainability of the solution.
