About the role

  • Join OPENLANE as a Purchase and Pricing Specialist in the automotive sector. Sourcing and purchasing vehicles while managing trading processes and supporting commercial initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and negotiate the best price for vehicles by sourcing leads from dealers, leasing companies, and fleet owners.
  • Purchase vehicles directly from various sources, ensuring optimal pricing and favorable terms.
  • Manage the process of vehicle trading, following up on purchases through each stage until the vehicle is ready for resale to OPENLANE buyers.
  • Monitor and ensure smooth execution of vehicle trading processes, from initial purchase to final sale.
  • Assist in commercial projects aimed at increasing vehicle volumes and establishing long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You are passionate about cars.
  • You have completed a commercial trainee program (or equivalent experience).
  • You have a first experience in purchasing with good negotiation skills.
  • You are always open to listen and learn from your peers.
  • You are fluent in French (you will use it in your daily tasks), with a good command of English (company language).
  • You like to work in open-minded atmosphere with straight-forward people.
  • You are flexible and you enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  • You adopt a systematic and methodical approach.
