US Benefits Analyst ensuring accurate and reliable benefits programs at OpenAI. Operate at the intersection of systems, data, and employee experience to support a growing workforce.
Responsibilities
Audit and maintain accurate U.S. benefits data across Workday and vendor systems.
Review and reconcile benefits vendor invoices; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Serve as a front-line resource for employee benefits questions, providing clear and empathetic guidance.
Maintain benefits elections, eligibility, and configurations in Workday.
Partner with Payroll, Finance, HR Systems, and vendors to resolve issues and improve processes.
Support key benefits projects such as open enrollment, audits, ongoing operational reviews, and compliance.
Identify recurring issues and help improve how benefits are administered at scale.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or a related role.
Experience supporting U.S. health and welfare benefits and/or retirement plans (e.g., 401(k)).
Hands-on experience with Workday, including transactions, configuration, and audits.
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and reconciliations.
Clear written communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
