About the role
- Product Manager specializing in data controls for OnePay's financial services app. Responsible for improving data-centric product decisions and managing data-related risks.
Responsibilities
- Building control alerts in the form of SQL queries that can be automatically triggered every day to monitor that the product is consistently functioning as intended.
- Monitoring the exceptions and working with the relevant stakeholders to rectify the root cause.
- Championing remediation and cleanup of historical data issues.
- Develop relevant control management framework document(s) in partnership with business and control partners.
- Gaining a solid understanding of the data lineage, and being able to critique, and provide feedback on the data models.
- Being an individual contributor who can be effective and efficient who can independently work in a remote location under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Senior (10 - 15 Years)

- Proven track record of delivering data-centric solutions in a financial domain.
- Solid SQL skills.
- Structured thinking to break down the assignments into logical components and drive the solution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An in-depth understanding of the product features, and ability to think through the edge cases from a data controls perspective.
- An in-depth data analysis mindset to discover insights that can provide input to future product roadmap and requirements.
