Responsibilities
Implement credit strategies in the credit decision engine, ensuring alignment with the company’s risk, profitability and growth guidelines;
Lead the technical design of policies, rules, segmentations, cut-offs, decision flows and routing strategies (automated vs. manual/desk);
Manage the end-to-end validation plan (planning, scenarios, rule validation, integrated testing), ensuring quality and governance during implementation;
Monitor the performance of deployed policies through strategic KPIs (approval rate, delinquency, margin, conversion, routing, operational efficiency);
Work on building and evolving score models (internal and bureau), defining cut-offs and segmentation strategies;
Identify continuous improvement opportunities in the credit engine to reduce operational friction and increase efficiency;
Ensure governance and traceability of changes made to the engine and policies;
Collaborate with Data, Modeling, IT, Product and Collections teams to evolve the full credit lifecycle;
Support strategic decisions through in-depth technical analyses and executive presentations to leadership.
Requirements
Experience with decision engines and rule parameterization;
Experience with decision engines (e.g., Crivo, FICO, Experian, Neurotech or similar);
Knowledge of programming logic (coursework, skills or practical experience);
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or similar;
