IT-Help Desk Agent at OMEXOM supporting IT operations and user assistance. Engaging with MS Windows Servers and providing first-level support for internal colleagues.
Responsibilities
Handle various IT administration tasks for MS Windows servers and clients, as well as mobile devices (Apple iOS and Google Android)
Implement system expansions and adjustments
Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues and resolve incidents in 1st- and partially 2nd-level support
Onboard new colleagues and set up user accounts and devices
Assist users with software and hardware usage
Document and track support requests in the Jira ticketing system
Document processes, system adjustments and changes in Atlassian Confluence
Maintain work progress in the Atlassian Jira ticketing system
Requirements
Completed vocational training in IT, e.g., as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira and remote support tools
Basic knowledge of server administration and networking
Familiarity with terms such as DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell, and the OSI model
Experience operating MS Windows Servers is an advantage
Technical affinity and interest in new IT technologies and topics
Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented working style
Driving licence (category B or class 3) and willingness to travel for regional assignments
Good German and English language skills and strong teamwork and communication skills
