IT Help Desk Agent supporting internal IT administration for OMEXOM, focusing on server and client management. Assisting users and documenting processes in Jira and Confluence.
Responsibilities
Take on various tasks in IT administration for MS Windows servers, clients and mobile devices
Act as the first point of contact for colleagues; resolve incidents in 1st- and 2nd-level support
Ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues and setup of user accounts and devices
Support users in the use of software and hardware
Document and track support requests in the Jira ticketing system
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate specialist departments
Document processes, system configurations and changes in Atlassian Confluence
Maintain work progress in the Atlassian Jira ticketing system
Requirements
Completed vocational training in IT, e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira
Knowledge in server administration and networking
Terms like DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell or the OSI model should not be unfamiliar to you
Experience operating MS Windows Servers is an advantage
Experience in IT support or help desk is a plus
Technical affinity and curiosity for new IT technologies
Strong problem-solving skills
Service-oriented way of working
Driver’s license (class B or former class 3)
Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
Good German and English skills
Strong team and communication skills
