About the role

  • Junior IT Administrator supporting installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems. Engage in IT support and collaborate closely with teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of clients, servers and networks for our business customers in Nordwestmecklenburg.
  • Participate in First- and Second-Level support: receive, analyze and resolve incidents and service requests.
  • Set up and replace hardware (e.g., laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices).
  • Support Microsoft environments (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory).
  • Assist with projects such as server migrations, rollouts, backup and security solutions.
  • Document IT systems, solutions and standards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with your team to keep customers' IT stable, modern and secure.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or comparable practical experience.
  • Some professional experience in IT support or managing customer IT environments.
  • Confident handling of hardware, Windows operating systems and common standard software.
  • Very good German language skills and solid English for everyday IT tasks.
  • Structured, careful working style and calm, solution-oriented communication with customers.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours – occasional work outside regular hours or on-call duty is acceptable.
