About the role

  • IT-Help Desk Agent managing IT administration and support for staff at OMEXOM. Engage in server and client management with strong documentation practices and user onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Take on various tasks in IT administration for MS Windows servers and clients as well as mobile devices
  • Act as the first point of contact for colleagues and resolve incidents in 1st- and partially 2nd-level support
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues and set up users and devices
  • Support users in the use of software and hardware
  • Log and track support requests in the Jira ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate specialist departments
  • Document processes, system configurations and changes in Atlassian Confluence and the Jira ticketing system

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT, e.g., IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira and remote support tools
  • Basic knowledge of server administration and network environments
  • Familiarity with concepts such as DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell, and the OSI model
  • Experience operating MS Windows Server environments is an advantage
  • Previous experience in IT support or a help desk is required
  • Technical affinity and curiosity
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Service-oriented approach to work
  • Driver’s license (category B or class 3)
  • Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
  • Good command of German and English
  • Strong team and communication skills
