About the role

  • Talent & Development Manager overseeing development for legal professionals in a fast-paced team environment, ensuring engagement and growth opportunities in a legal context.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Talent & Development to develop legal teams
  • Manage the delivery of legal development programmes
  • Support key projects and initiatives
  • Drive engagement with development offerings
  • Provide guidance for partner-track development process
  • Ensure development programmes remain fit-for-purpose
  • Facilitate coaching for internal programmes
  • Identify and select external training providers
  • Provide advisory support to partners and teams
  • Manage the global legal training budget
  • Line manage the Senior Advisor within Talent & Development team
  • Collaborate with peers for seamless support across the business

Requirements

  • Previous learning & development and/or talent management experience
  • Familiar with professional services, ideally legal
  • Credible with senior management
  • Skills in managing stakeholders
  • Comfortable using virtual delivery tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom)
  • Familiar with learning management systems and digital platforms
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ideally qualified in one or more psychometric tools
