About the role
- Intern managing IT contracts and ensuring regulatory compliance for Ofi Invest Asset Management. Engaging in contract analysis, negotiations, and risk management within a dynamic legal team.
Responsibilities
- Management of IT contracts (platforms, tools, service agreements) and data contracts, and various agreements: contract analysis and review, negotiation of agreements, and management of terminations and amendments.
- Regulatory compliance related to European law (Digital Operational Resilience Act, AI Act) and monitoring of risks associated with the activity.
- Participation in the implementation of associated controls.
- Project to reorganize our contract library.
- Administration and monitoring of class action and securities litigation files: evaluating opportunities, tracking litigation, and assisting during settlement phases of transactions.
Requirements
- You are a Master's-level law student (Bac+5) in private law with a focus on business and contract law (or digital/technology law), or a trainee at a bar school.
- Dual degree appreciated (LLM, business school, bar school, etc.).
- Experience/internships in contract review or drafting with a focus on data licensing and IT contracts.
- Knowledge of GDPR and related issues.
- Familiarity with the finance sector and/or asset management is a plus.
- Fluent professional English is required for the successful completion of this internship.
- Soft skills: eager to learn and curious.
- Rigorous, organized, and a good listener.
- Proactive and committed in daily tasks.
