About the role
- (Senior) PR & Communications Manager managing external communications for Octopus Energy in Germany. Fostering relationships with media and shaping the energy market narrative.
Responsibilities
- Du verantwortest die operative und strategische PR- und Kommunikationsarbeit und damit zu großen Teilen auch unseren Außenauftritt. Dafür stehst du im engen Austausch mit Journalist*innen sowie der Marketingleitung und Geschäftsführung
- Unsere Botschaften, unser Know-how und unsere Mission übersetzt du in starke Geschichten, textest diese und trägst sie nach außen – dabei wählst du klassische Mittel und Wege genauso wie unkonventionelle Ansätze
- Du konzipierst und steuerst Content- und Kommunikationsprojekte, von der kreativen Idee bis zum abschließenden Reporting
- Du bist Ansprechpartner*in für alle Presseanfragen
- Du steuerst den Bereich der Pressekommunikation in den sozialen Medien, vor allem LinkedIn
Requirements
- Du hast dein Studium der Journalistik, Medien- oder Kommuniationswissenschaften, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder in vergleichbaren Studiengängen bereits seit ein paar Jahren hinter dir
- Du verfügst über mindestens zwei Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Public Relations und Communications
- Energiemarkt Know-how ist ein großes Plus, aber kein Muss
- Du hast ein aktives Journalist*innen-Netzwerk, im Idealfall mit vielen Kontakten aus dem Energiebereich und baust dieses eigenständig aus
- Du besitzt ausgezeichnete kommunikative Fähigkeiten, Kommunizieren, Schreiben und Formulieren gehören zu deinen großen Leidenschaften
- Du denkst gerne um die Ecke und hast kreative Ideen, die weit über die klassische PR-Kampagne hinausgehen
- Du bist flexibel und bringst Reisebereitschaft mit
- Du besitzt sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- Du bist ein*e Teamplayer*in mit „Packen-wir’s-an-Mentalität“
