About the role

  • Conducting acceptance examinations and leading examination teams in electrical engineering facilities. Ensuring compliance with legal and technical regulations in electrical systems and components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform design and acceptance inspections in the field of electrotechnical installations — overhead line systems
  • Lead the inspection team technically and organizationally during acceptance testing
  • Inspect and evaluate installations in the area of electrotechnical installations — overhead line systems
  • Verify compliance with applicable legal regulations, technical standards and the evidence of suitability for systems and components used in STE installations
  • Check the permissible use and application of approved parts, components, materials and systems
  • Ensure the quality of planning is maintained during construction implementation
  • Be flexible and willing to be on site occasionally on weekends, public holidays or at night
  • Provide project consulting and support for technical solution analysis
  • Transfer knowledge to our planning and project engineers as well as construction supervisors
  • Ensure processes for continuous quality assurance
  • Work independently and responsibly within the team and support others as a mentor
  • Develop skills further through external and internal training

Requirements

  • You have a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable program
  • Recognition by the Federal Railway Authority (Eisenbahn-Bundesamt) as a Prüfsachverständiger / plan and acceptance inspector in the field of electrotechnical installations — overhead line systems
  • Medical fitness in accordance with the requirements of § 48 EBO (Railway Construction and Operation Regulations)
  • Confident use of common MS Office tools
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Responsibility for your tasks
  • Quick comprehension and high motivation
  • Team player, loyal, with strong communication skills and assertiveness
  • Ideally a Class B driving license for on-site assignments
